Overland Park Couple Raises the Bar

When an Overland Park couple was designing their custom built home,
they decided they wanted a bar for entertaining and came to Kenny’s for
help. They knew Kenny’s could provide everything they needed from flooring to countertops
and with designers on staff, they’d have the help they needed to make
it beautiful. They knew they wanted an upscale look and they liked the
warmth of brown tones. A Kenny’s designer sat down with them and showed
them their options.
Kenny’s Tile carries and installs dozens and dozens of countertops. You can choose from granite, natural marble and travertine imported from India, Brazil, Italy and Spain. In fact, we have over 60 in-stock colors ranging from the most common and popular to the most unusual exotics. Our customers really like being able to visit our Graniteworks showroom and see all of the countertop styles and be able to personally select their slabs. For this project, the couple chose Lapidus 3 cm granite with a 4” splash surrounding it and a rectangular under mount copper sink to finish the look. The warm tan and brown tones of the granite really complemented the floor they had decided on.
Kenny’s Tile carries thousands of flooring options from carpet to tile to stone to hardwood. They wanted a floor that would make a statement – something that would be unique and out of the ordinary. They really liked the color, texture and look of a buff slate tile, but it would still just be a classic 12x12 patterned slate floor. Then the designer offered an idea that thrilled them. Rather than install the slate in a simple 12x12 square pattern, cut it into 4x12 strips and install it in a herringbone pattern. You can see from the picture, that the result was a one-of-a-kind floor that really grabs the eye.
