Kenny’s Has a Leg Up: Check Out What We Can Do With Your Staircase

September 9, 2014

You probably knew we can install new tile in your bathroom, or new hardwood floors in your foyer, but did you know Kenny’s Tile can create beautiful staircases for you too? And we don’t just mean one style. We offer several styles that can be mixed and matched to fit your home perfectly. Here are some of our most popular staircases that might just give you a little inspiration.

Traditional Hardwood Staircase with Ironclad Spindles

This classic look is composed of hardwood steps, railings, and railing posts, as well as ironclad decorative spindles. It’s a clean-looking style than can easily fit into almost any home. You can customize this look by choosing the species of wood used, the stain color used, and you can even change out the ironclad spindles for wooden ones.

Hardwood Staircase with Carpet Tread

This carpeted staircase is similar to the all-hardwood staircase, but the steps are covered with a carpet runner or tread. The carpet adds a touch of warmth, and is a great way to have the best of both worlds when it comes to your staircase. An ideal way to make your staircase a fluid transition from your first floor to your second is by incorporating the same carpet used on your second floor into the tread on your stairs. To make it even more fluid, use the same species of wood and stain color on your stairs and your first floor.

Carpeted Staircase with Wood Spindles

For a cozy look choose an all-carpet staircase with wooden railings and spindles. This adds a lot of warmth to your foyer or whichever room your stairs are in. Customize this look by choosing a unique style of carpet, changing the stain of the wooden railings and spindles, or you can paint the railings and spindles to match the rest of your home.
