Carpet colors are definitely trending darker than the previous decade. From charcoal grey and chocolate brown to deep burgundies and even black, carpet colors are more dramatic and bold. If you’re hesitant, try it in a hallway or a small room to see if you like the darker look before you carpet a large area. By the way, grey is the new hot neutral color, so maybe a darker shade of grey would be a good choice.
