What To Expect From Granite

What to Expect From Your Granite Install in Kansas City

Estimates: One of our project managers will come out to your residence and will measure the countertop and will send you an estimate proposal via email within a week.

Stone selection:
When possible, we recommend starting with a granite selection as the stone will be the focal point of your project. We also suggest bringing cabinet, paint and tile samples to facilitate color/ pattern selection. We'll be happy to provide granite samples to view in your home. When the final selection is made, the stone is then tagged with your name ensuring the stone you select is the one that is installed in your home.

Template:
After approving the initial estimate, we will schedule an appointment to come to your home to prepare templates. This template will be used in the fabrication of your stone, for this reason all base cabinets must be installed. For remodels, we do not require existing countertops to be removed. All Stone uses digital technology to prepare the templates and can customize the layout of the stone's pattern.
A final estimate is then provided to the customer based upon the field measurements. When accepted, a 50% deposit by cash or check is required to proceed with fabrication and installation.

Fabrication:
Highly trained stone fabricators use the templates to cut and polish the stone in preparation for the installation process. All Stone's fabrication shop utilizes state-of-the-art technology and experienced personnel which combined, produce excellent results.

Installation:
All Stone's professional crews will deliver and install the stone in your home, polish seams and make the required cutouts. Granite is installed directly upon base cabinets, any existing countertops need to be removed prior to installation date. As a final step, we will clean, caulk and seal the granite tops.
